Sometimes the sweet embrace of oblivion seduces noteworthy projects and they slowly drift away from its creators. They get lost and end in the place where comic book stories go to die.

Heavy Metalinitis: Sudden urge to acquire back issues of Heavy Metal Magazine.

Treatment involves buying any Heavy Metal issue available but Dr. R.G. Llarena
especially recommends the ones featured in this post.

By sheer coincidence these are the issues where he has collaborated.

Virtual Lazarus

Many projects fade away into oblivion and no one (except for their creators) sheds a tear for them.

Well, not this time. Behold an image of what was once our Virtual Lazarus. Milton Sobreiro worked hard on this project but unfortunately it never found a receptive publisher.

All I ask you is a moment of silence for Virtual Lazarus & then – as a statement against the cruel establishment – go and buy some of Milton’s published work. Of course if the writer attached in some of his comics happens to be R.G. Llarena, let’s just leave it as a happy coincidence.

Felipe Sobreiro was also part of the team but since he’s receiving a lot of attention with Luther Strode I refuse to give the guy more publicity.

Choose Your Own Misadventure

This story suffers from a somewhat common illness in the comic book industry, a sickness that we know as “unpublished”.

It’s not a severe disease if you seek help. Our little buddy is now on treatment and it will soon be cured.
